Origin: India
Size: Approx. 1.5–2 inches in diameter
100% Natural: Organically sourced, naturally dried, and free from chemicals
Uses
Aquariums & Paludariums: When properly prepared, bell cups release moderate tannins, encourage biofilm growth, and provide natural hiding and spawning areas for fish and shrimp. Their durable structure holds up well underwater; any softened fruit pulp should be removed after boiling, especially for smaller aquariums.
Bioactive Terrariums: Offers hides and grazing areas for isopods and springtails, shelter for small reptiles and amphibians (such as dart frogs), and adds nutrients to the substrate as it breaks down. Some cups may hold water or can be mounted and planted for unique natural décor.
Decor & Crafts: Ideal for decorative displays, bowl fillers, terrariums, potpourri, wreaths, and botanical art projects.
Aquatic Preparation: Boil for at least 30 minutes to help the pods sink and release tannins, removing any softened fruit material. Soak in fresh water (changing daily) until fully saturated and the desired water color is reached.
Note: Each bell cup will vary naturally in size, shape, and color. Intended for decorative, craft, aquarium, and vivarium use only. Not for human consumption.
