Also commonly labeled as "Yellow Albino", they are an albino morph of the "lilac" springtail.  They do well on soil or clay, but need to be kept moist.  They breed quickly, don't jump all over but are fairly active.  They do burrow into the soil but absolutely love protein and will cluster at the surface when food is offered.

This will include at least 25+ springtails and will be shipped in a temporary clay cup.

You also have the option to upgrade to an 8oz clay master culture kit and we will ship them in that container if you choose this option. This is a great size to start your long-time master culture and is sufficient for them to live in for many months to even a year or more to come.

*The kit will come with a small sample of housemade food and a pipette to help water your culture. You will want to keep the clay moist, but not too wet. A few drops in your culture every week should do the trick.  You will want the clay to barely stick to your finger when poked.

*The clay will eventually break down and the population will grow, so you will need to either purchase some springtail clay and a larger container to make your own, or you can split your culture between two smaller cultures.

These springtails culture great on a good substrate if you choose to add them to soil as well.  They will eventually start gathering on the lid and walls once their population grows.
