CharCulture - Charcoal Springtail Culture Kit

This is an "all you need" kit to start your own springtail master culture on charcoal. It comes with a 8 ounce plastic container with a lid filled with pre-washed and pre-soaked natural lump charcoal chunks and a small sample bag of our HausChow isopod and springtail food. All you'll need to do is add your springtails, crack the lid every couple days for oxygen exchange, and feed them once a week, then watch them blossom. Maintain approximately 1" of distilled/purified/RO water in the culture at all times.

To harvest your springtails from the charcoal, you can either grab a chunk of charcoal that has springtails on it and tap them into their destinations or set the charcoal in and let them come off by themselves. Or you can dump some water into the culture and pour it out from the culture into their destination as the are hydrophobic and will float on the surface.
