25+ count springtails. These will ship in a small temporary cup lined with springtail clay for safe transit and ease of adding to their new enclosure. Simply tap the cup and in they go!

This species is a slow breeding, slow moving, but gorgeous species.  They are highly encouraged to be kept on a soil substrate and have been noted to be very hit or miss on clay and charcoal. They love a very humid environment that is kept warm.  They prefer temperatures in the high 70s to low 80s.  They love protein so make sure to offer a supplemental food that is high in protein.  This is also rumored to help speed up breeding slightly.  We offer a very small 1/4" hole with a fine fabric mesh hot glued over it, to release any gases the substrate might let off.  You can set them in a warm area (but not directly in front of a window or under a light bulb), or keep them on a small heat mat that is hooked to a thermostat to control them temperature.  They love it when the moisture from the soil evaporates and makes the lid and walls moist, while the soil is still moist.
