These little guys are a burrowing species that breeds at a moderate to quick rate.  They make great cleaners and are docile roommates for more sensitive reptiles and amphibians and will leave live plants alone.

They are known to prefer warm and humid environments, but also work great for semi-arid and even arid as well, provided there's a moist area for them to retreat to when needed.
