Shipped on a temporary 2oz deli cup coated with springtail clay for safe shipping and ease of adding to their new enclosure. They can live in this cup for some time as long as you give it a drop or two of water once a week and open it ever couple days for oxygen exchange!

These look very similar to the common Folsomia candida "Temperate White" springtails however, they're a great alternative if you don't like the temperate's ability to jump.  These are extremely slow moving and don't jump.

Due to their very slow nature, they may appear dead upon arrival, but please exam them very closely before assuming they're dead.

If you want to keep these long term on clay, we offer a master culture clay kit that will come with an 8 oz. deli cup coated with springtail clay, a small baggie of Bug Buffet, and a pipette for precise watering. If you choose this option, your springtails will come shipped in that container.
